Has anyone had any trouble doing a format conversion on a VBR MP3? I was trying to convert a VBR MP3 to 24bit wave, and it seemed to work, until I realized that the end of the track had been cut off. I double checked and the original file plays all the way through, but after conversion it cuts off at the same point every time. I did the conversion with both Wavelab and GHoldwave, and the results were identical. I had the guy send me a 320KB/sec MP3 instead and it works just fine. Is this a VBR thing or what?
