Hi,
I recently started encoding my mp3's in vbr format.
There are some options for stereo,I'm not sure what they mean.
Under the constant rate options menu,it has either either;stereo, joint stereo,or forced joint stereo.
Does anyone know what the differance between them is,and if one gives a better sound than the others?
Also,if I choose one over the other in the constant page settings, does it effect the vbr encoding?
I tried it,and the file size's were differant when encoding in vbr with differant stereo options selected in the constant page.
I'm using Razorlame.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Pete
