HA HA HA yup! It's call *The really big stick* but it always takes 6 or7 wackes to teach them.

Interesting idea - perfect for eliminating the *pop* when you unpug/plug in an instrument, however as a volume control, I think it probably lacks good linear attenuation. However, if someone wants to send me one, I will be glad to give it a fair and thorough review!

I got a free Planet Waves cable with something I bought recently, and it has a switch in one of the plugs, ostensibly to stop that "pop" when you unplug and you're feeding into something that's live... and it works fine.... it is, however, just another thing that you have to think about when standing there on stage after a rushed 10 minute set up / soundcheck thinking "Why is there no sound coming from my guitar?"

Plus my Maton guitars already have a soft unplug circuit in their pickups.. so no pop anyway!

Still, never look a gift freebie in the mouth...
