Using the Scale and Chord Midi Effect

I am using these two effects to spread a chord over an orchestral range. The Chord Effect outputs only one note of the chord for the track on which it is located. All works OK but I am also getting source note that was input to the Chord Effect. Is there a way to filter this out?

I don’t even know what you are talking about - what are you using? What effects? What DAW?
