My MR8 finally broke in the middle of a lengthy recording project. Lucky for me, my friend had one I could borrow to finish things up. Weirdly, though, his machine will read the song titles on my compact flash card but does not seem to detect any of the recorded tracks. Just silence. Nothing on the screen either. Sticking the card back into my old machine, the songs are still there, just fine. It's only the new machine that won't read them. Does anybody know why this would be?
