"Hi, I'm in Delaware."
This is something I didn't know about until the other day when my professor showed it to me, but apparently you can use the pencil tool in Pro Tools to go in and redraw the shape of the waveform. Put it into "waveform" view and zoom way in to do it. I'm sure at least some of you already knew that, so I guess what I really want to know is what the point of that is. I think my professor suggested that you could use it to tame peaks or something, but you'd have to really know what you're doing to get the shape right. It just doesn't seem like it would be a very efficient tool would you could just use, say, a compressor. Am I missing something?
