Using remote devices in SX (Proteus 2500)

Hi chaps...

I've recently got myself a Proteus 2500 on eBay and am happily using it in SX along with a load of PC based synths etc...

There are device patches for lots of hardware, including the Proteus 2000, but not for the 2500, so I always have to change sounds manually and switching between songs I have to re-set all the sounds every time, which is all just a bit boring.

I've tried finding a patch on the net but no luck there. EMU just said 'we don't do them' and Steinberg just haven't responded.

Has anyone got any ideas..? It must be possible to control and save the sounds in Cubase, right..?! :confused:

You have to set your own one up (if you've got the time ;) ) .Go to Device menu - midi device manager and away you go.

I can't be the first person in the world to use a Proteus 2500 in Cubase though, can I..?! There's about a million sounds to set up! :eek:

Here's hoping someone else out there's come accross this themsleves and kindly written a patch or somet I can, err, borrow

I thought that t'internet was full of chaps in specs did this kinda thing for fun!
