What is your usual procedure applying outboard reverb within your DAW?
This is what I have found that personally works for me:
I solo the instrument(s) that need the reverb and then record the effect to a new track. After I have recorded the track(s) I want it on, I blend judiciously to taste and I send those tracks to a "reverb bus" and I cut everything above 3 KHz. Seems to work good for me so far.
Do you guys gave any different procedures when it comes to applying outboard FX to their DAW mixes?
