Hey there,

The reccommended requirments of Pro Tools M-Powered 7.3 say that the computer should have two seperate hard-drives. How essential is this? I was looking at getting a new PC, but theres quite a jump in price between a machine with one hard-drive and two - even if they both give the same amount of space. I have a USB 2.0 external drive, but I assume that USB wont be good enough to cope with the needs. If anyone has any experience with this, any and all help would be great.

Thanks a lot,

-Rob

It definitely helps, but you can use the software with just 1 hard drive. You can also buy an extra internal hard drive, you don't have to buy an entire new computer. They are not very expensive anymore, and installing an extra hard drive is pretty easy.
