HI,

I have a Korg foot controller that has 5 pedals and a bank switch.

Is there a way I could use it to control some features of Sonar?

Example:
arm for recording
solo
new audio track
play / record

I'm pretty certain this falls in the realm of studioware .. is this correct?

Can i do this? It would be really convenient.

IF the controller can generate MIDI note information, yes. Sonar lets you assign different keys on a MIDI keyboard to different functions within the program. You would have to look it up in the help files for more specifics...

Ahhh.

It's a standard footswitch you can use to control a keyboard. I've been using it to control my rocktron intelliflex ..

I don't know how 'smart' the footsitch is, but since it's got 'bank' up and down, i would image it sends values between 0-255 .. on top of that i wouldn't even know where to start.

Any suggestions?
