Hi!

Would anyone know the setting for using the Mia Midi soundcard driver with a windows XP CUbase SX system?...I am seeing in my device setup under vst multi track a choice between the ASIO
Echo WDM and the ASIO mutimedia driver...and the Echo one sounds a whole lot better,I have been dealing with weak audio volume levels for a while and when I changed the setting from the AISO multimedia to the echo wdm,the sound was loud, clear, and better in general.....Which one is considered a "correct" setting for Cubase SX?.
Any advice I sure would appreciate

With Cubase, you're probably going to get the best results using the Echo ASIO driver for recording. With certain hardware configurations, you may have to change to the generic ASIO Multimedia driver.

It's all in the manual...

For best results and low latency , select ASIO Echo WDM , then press control panel and select buffer size 128 samples. That would give you a latency of 4.3 ms (milliseconds).
That way you can use plugins (effects and VSTi’s) in real-time.
