I have gotten to record and multitrack with this setup using a cheap computer mic pluged into the SoundBlasters "mic in" and it works fine. But I have a mixer hooked up now and I want to go to my LINE IN on the soundcard. I have the mixer going in there and I can hear the mic, and it sounds like it should, but I cannot get a visible level in the programs meter.

My input selection on the track is set at none, but I only have two options for left and right SoundBlaster. Which both of work with the computer mic into the MIC IN, but not for the LINE IN. Is there somewhere in the program to change which inputs the program sees?

You might need to check your computers soundcard and make sure the line in is turned up.

in control panel select the sounds icon. in the options section for recording select the line-in and disable mic. Also if you have "what you hear" disable that else you`ll hear every track combined in each individual track when solo'd.

Thanks. I figured that out but I will check the "what you hear" thing since I haven't done much with the overdubbing as of yet.
