hey...from what you are about to hear i may sound like a complete newbie to recording...unfortunatly im not but iv been recording using the conveniences of the digital world all stuffed in to my multitrack...but iv put a band together and i want to set up a studio that is good quality and reliable...as for my question...
if i record a song on to my digital multitrack (korg D1200)...how do i edit/add effects to it. i want to use external processors including compressors, revrb, etc. but how do i actually get the song from my system to run through the processors/external mixer and alter the sound during playback...i dont see an obviouse aux output or anything like that..please help me out!!!

Yo 99 Strings:

If it isn't in your Korg manual, I'd get Korg on the net and ask them.

I'm sure there is a way to insert an outboard FX box, as well as a compressor.

Since the Yam 2816 has to somewhat similar to the Korg, there should be a way.

Green Hornet:D :p :D

Not sure, but I know the D1600 has an aux out that must be used, and it's not very convenient at all. Sounds like shit when you're finished too since you've now gone through the shitty converters twice. Anway, you should be able to get a real answer from a forum here:
