Ok here the scenario:

I’m part of a 2-piece electronic rock outfit
I’ll be performing using my laptop, controller keyboard, and Reason 3.0 – and also lead vox
My friend is on lead geetars

Now, we’re planning on creating a set of non-stop music, where all the songs are bled together much in the same way a DJ mixes his set – with extended intro and outro’s, with quite a bit of improv jamming.

I’m thinking of getting either a Firewire 410 or a Firebox for the job…
But how do these perform in a live setting? How do their outputs compare? Are there any options worth considering in the same price range?

Thanks, this project is starting to become a nightmare for me to figure out by myself

i'm creating quite a 'big' sound, so the output quality and latency issues are the main concern

Well...i would chose the MOTU Ultralite or 828mkII to do that. They are awesome for gigs. especially cause of Cuemix.

hey guys, more feedback would be great for this
especially how the firebox's outputs perform in a live setting??
