Great site!
I've been playing around w/ digital recording for a while now, and am ready to begin acquiring the equipment I need for better recording.
Currently, I'm using a shure sm57 connected to a 4-track, and then into the sound in on my imac 266 (the 4 track is old and carries a bit of noise). I'm using opcode dsp for recording, editing, etc.
My question is this...what would be a good mixer for a beginner w/ this setup? I plan on including midi down the road, but do not have a synth yet. I'm considering the MIDIMan MIXIM10. The music I'll be recording is hand drums, didgeridoos, and ambience.
Pleaze help!
