Yo everyone, Soon I will be building a new PC for recording probably with a Delta 66. I was thinking about buying the Mackie 1202 for the mic pre's. My question is, is there anyway to just not use the EQ's on the mixer? I would like to just use the EQ's built into the computer software for each track, rather than using the mixer to EQ the tracks that I record. Mainly because if I don't like the EQ settings from the mixer, I wouldn't have to re-record each track. Does leaving the EQ knobs all the way down disable the EQ on the mixer? How do you guys with mixer pre's handle this type of situation? Thanks for all the advice in advance.

Yes, the 1202 has channel inserts. You can half-insert cables to get at the sends, or make custom cables. At any rate, the channel inserts are pre-eq.
