I need to use my 424mkII as a mixer with my Delta 1010.Can this be done? If so HOW do hook it up. Also I have a Blue Tube mic pre amp. Iam runing Logic silver 4.85 on a PC. But not for long thanks to Mac. I sold my Mackie and have a Soundcraft coming soon. I worlk solo 1 track at a time, also is thair away to used 3 effects with 424.

How many channels are you trying to send to the Delta 1010? With the 424MKII, you can use the stereo outs as 2 channels and then use the 2 aux sends as 2 more channel for a total of 4. Not exactly the best mixer to use if you're looking for a mixer interface for your Delta.

Know more than 8 to 12 ,not all at once I play all the stuff myself.Drums are snare and hi-hat , Bass line in, Acoustic Guitar, some Electric Guitar, and voice and so on.So if you load all 4TRs up you can't send that out from stereo output ? not that I would.
I play live solo acoustic guitar, I just try to jazz up the cd's I sell on the road .As for effects I used some plug-in some out-board that in pach in to the delta 1010 for mixdown.thanks for your help, if you come up something new reply.

Do you mean playback 4 cassette tracks from the 424MKII? That's easy enough. Just use the tape direct outs. You can use the 424 as a mixer without recording to tape, but you're limited to the number of outs. Are you mixing down to the PC or transferring to the PC for mixing?

I just won't to use the 424 as a mixer to cut tracks, I mixdown in Logic.
So you are saying I can come out of the 4 tape outs on the back of the 424 to the delte 1010 inputs and the output of 1010 go to
the PC and I use the monitor output to my amp,yes/no?
