Hey folks,
New guy here at the forum was wondering if anyone who owns or as used a DP01-FX, would care to give me an honest opinion on the thing. I own a Boss BR-532, but it's limited recording time and having to use cards to transfer the tracks to pc has made me want to move on to a hard disk recorder.
Is it fairly easy to operate? What voltage is the phantom power? Is the mastering process "user friendly?"
Any insight would be helpful.

I own a Tascam dp-o1 fx. I think it is average...And i like the phantom power...but overall its average I think. You can record up to two tracks at once..and you can bounce tracks..which is very nice. Thats when if you dont have enought room...you take all those 8 tracks and move them into 1 track. Very nice. The effects however...arent great. I think its pretty good. Id get a tascam dp-01 fx/cd that recently came out. Its alot easier so you dont need to use a USB to connect and get your songs onto a cd. Overall all i give it a 8 out of 10. It is easy to operate..and user friendly and all of that..not complicated at all, but still effective.
