The guitar center in my area has a giant rack full of used gear for sale very cheap.. like... $25.00 and stuff. I'm wondering if I should buy any of it.
There was some alesis stuff... a compressor and a couple of nanoverbs for like 30 bucks... A bunch of patch bays and headphone monitors, most of the stuff I have no clue about. There was a behringer autocom for $80 and a whole capload of stuff.

I dont really know if there was a point to this thread.. I guess I'm asking if I should buy the alesis stuff for $25-30 bucks.

If you already have some effects units but you might need a spare one every now and then, you can get by with the Nano-verb. I have one that gets used ocassionally. For 30 bucks its probably worth it. If its your only FX unit, save up and get something better.

Dude, wait for the sale to end and check the dumpster that night.

I've heard that the Nanoverb can be a little noisy, but the quality is very good. Have not tried it first hand, but I'd sure grab it for $30.

The Nanoverb has a small sweet spot, but if you can stay in that it is pretty quiet. It's actually a good utility type box. It also has delays, which can come in handy.
