Used Expensive cable Vs. New Cheap Cable

Hi everyone.I just saw some cables on Ebay.They retail for 100$, but are selling for 25$.They are top of the line cables, they were used to record many platinum selling albums.They were used for 6 months.From what I understand, the studio had the plastic covering that's used to keep cables in order and not messy over them, so I dont think any damage really occured.Meanwhile theirs these cheap Hosa cables going for 25$(NEW).Which oen should I get

coming from a "stereo audiophilE" perspective, buy the more expensive ones. It is very sought after to buy high end cables that have already been "burned in" or used for a specific amount of time. as long as the cables have had no electrical problems, or kinks, i would invest in anything better then HOSA.

I'd go for the better used cables.
