Groooovvvvvyyyyyy!
And yes, those drums do sound great....(as if I didn't know that...:D)
Great mix, no issues at all, send Bill a copy...;)

Covers are fun when I'm in between originals. I always learn something or get an idea along the way, too. Either about song-writing and/or mixing.

Yup, fo sho. I always use covers when I have a new tracking idea or wanna try different mic placements. I'm not wasting originals on experimentation.

Excellent stuff RAMI. I remember listening to the 1st one but can't dig back in my skull for comparison - I did save it but it's on an external HDD somewhere in the house.
It's a cool grooving cover. Withers stuff usually had a good groove & you've mined that & improved it a little.
Covers - haven't done one as an HR before - basically because I don't have the chops BUT I have been planning one - an old fav of mine & one that I can ACTUALLY play the chords for (when my arthritic L index finger bends far enough to play a standard C chordthat is).

Thanx buddy. I wonder if he'd listen to it. If I was a big name and someone covered my tune, I'd probably be curious to hear it. Who knows?

Meh, you've got the chops to do a cover for sure. Pick one and do it.

Thanx for the listen, Ray. In the first version I did, I played a side-stick on the snare, like the original. This time I said "screw that" and just played the snare. :)
