USB Vocal Microphone suggestions

Hey I need help cuz I have no clue.

I love singing and enjoy recording myself... i have thusfar used a built-in microphone in my webcam for my recording samples but I am not satisfied. I am now looking to get a USB mic that would be a better option for better almost studio quality voice demos. Any suggestions?

None. 'USB microphone' and 'almost studio quality' don't belong in the same sentence. Save your money and treat yourself to dinner and a movie.
 
HAHAHA alright let me modify that sentence them...forget studio quality... at least somehting thats better than a webcam mic and with a sound quality thats kinda pleasant to listen to

or maybe a non USB microphone that I can use as a stage mic but also somehow connect to the computer too
 
You should get a small 2 channel interface and even a Shure SM 58 will be a vast improvement!
What software are you using You should download Reaper and check it out.
 
Regular SM58 or SM58S (depending on whether you're willing to pay extra for an on/off switch). As a general rule, any of those little inline microphone-to-USB adapters or USB-based microphones are going to suck hard. There's an article somewhere around here on usable USB audio interfaces. Maybe somebody can dig up a link.
 
thanks... i'll search for that article but would appreciate suggestions on interface as well
 
You can't beat the DMP3 ~☼~ goggle it up and take a look.
 
Damn I think that's the second time I've made this mistake! :mad:
 
I've had that Alesis mixer for about 9 months. It's awesome. Can't beat it for the price. Compact and will work on Windows or Mac.
