My Alesis Multimix 16 Firewire mixer just stopped working. Actually, the analog part of the mixer still works fine, but the firewire I/O has just died. This mixer gave me 18 unique outputs via firewire. I've been looking for a replacement. It seems like all of the small format options from Mackie, Yamaha, Peavey, etc all only have a 2X2 firewire or USB bus. I need more than a 2X2 I/O (8 outputs to the computer would be enough). The cheapest multiple output mixer I can find is the Soundcraft Signature MTK. Is anyone aware of other small format mixers that would give me more than 2 inputs and 2 outputs?
