USB mixing desk - help!

Hey

I'm new to computer recording and wanted to know whether I can use something like or any other USB/ firewire mixing desk. (I was considering a Peavey 20)

i) Record multiple individual tracks on to the computer simultaneously
ii) That I will then be able to use all the dials on the mixing desk to mix and master on the computer

What your looking for is 1.) an interface for multi-tracking, and 2.) A control surface for DAW(software) control. You can either go the route of buying a separate interface and control surface or try to find a combo. Try searching for those words on a music retailer like musiciansfriend or guitarcenter
