USB Mics

Aside from them being 16bit - what do you like or dislike about them?

I have a Blue Snowbal and MXL.006 for podcasting but wanted to hear some opinions

16-bit or not, I've never heard one that I actually liked. Rode's PodCaster was one of the better of the bunch, but even that was good for - well, podcasting...

Exactly. Don't expect to use one for anything but podcasting or Saturday-night-in-the-living room karaoke.

USB mics may sound like a good idea

But your stuck with using 1 usb port ber mic and your also stuck with there Analog to Digital converters.

Plus the mic cannot be used as a normal mic either.

We actually have a blue snoball mic. It was our very first recording mic. It's a bit noisy, but the sound from it is not bad.
