if your keyboard has a USB out, it's basically transmitting MIDI via USB. If that has too much latency for you, buying a USB MIDI device is probably not going to solve your problems, since it would be doing basically the same thing. What type of system are you working on (computer specs, etc)? That might help to make a better recommendation.
BTW, personally, I don't care, but many folks here don't appreciate seeing the same post in different forums. I think I saw the same question in the Cakewalk forum. If so, you probably don't want to do that in the future, cuz someone will jump all over you. If that was someone else, please ignore me.
