Hi I am looking for a USB Interface for outputting audio to my Adat Hd24 and would like to hear some suggestions. I would like something with at least two outs and two ins with pre amps, I will be using it for Soft Synths and the occasional recording. I am concerned about latency due to usb 2.0 but I am using a Laptop with no firewire. My laptop specs are Windows Vista 32 bit Centrino 2ghz dual core 2mb l2 cache 667 fsb and 3gig’s ram. The DAW I will be using is Reaperand Acid Pro 4.0. My max budget is $400. On my laptop does have express card slot but I cant find what chipset it has I tried looking in the bios and even called my tech support but no luck. If my laptop has a Texas Instruments chipset then problem solved but is there any way of checking besides my methods and besides cracking the laptop open? I did a lot of searching on both here and GS but cant seem to find the info I am looking for.
