usb duo--ZERO LATENCY??

i am thinking of getting a duo to use with my laptop and sonar.

i read another thread about the duo and the zero latency monitoring...so this means that when recording i could hear myself 'live' but when i turn to play back the recording i would not get anything back from the computer? That makes no sense...

Also, it looks like the outputs on the duo are line level...this means I would either need powered monitors or a stereo with an aux input correct?

No, that would defeat the entire purpose of owning the thing, no?

It means that you would be monitoring directly. This shouldn't mean that nothing is being recorded. This just means that you're hearing yourself sing (or whatever) directly.

Unless I totally misunderstand what you're asking.
