Does anyone know the number of the type of USB cable I need to down load updates, or where can I get one????

Download updates? That would be an ethernet cable. Do you have a modem and an internet carrier?

You use a USB A to USB B cable. A to your PC and B into the MR. Download the update from the Fostex International site (or from me if I have it. You will get a PDF file - the instructions and a MOT file - the update.

I found the site for the downloads and the instructions but the cable plug in on the Fostex is different than any cable I have here. Just was wondering if it was a special cable.

That's odd, it is standard A & B on my MR16. What machine are you trying to update?

MR8 hd/cd, I think I had it to close to my TV and killed the program, so I thought I could update to the new one.
