US428 and 788 link

Is there any way that you all know of that I can use a US-428 and connect it to the 788 where whenever I press record on the 428, it will also begin recording on the 788?

Whats a 788? more than likely it gonna have something to do with setting up Midi sync on it to accept input from the tascam.

try turnig off the local tx switch on the 788 or whatever it is that way it will not sync with the tascam
