i did a search, but i just wanted to ask outright.

Who here has a tascam US-122 and how's it working for you?

my buddy who i record with is moving to chicago, and the bastard is taking his Pro Tools 001 and his mac G4 with him. i can't seem to convince him to leave it here. anyway, i've just been using my PC's soundcard (god knows what kind it is) and i need a way to make some better recordings.

i'm thinking about getting a US-122 and ACID PRO 4.0 for my set up here. i use ACID 2.0 right now, but i want the VSTi support from ACID PRO.

Does this sound like a decent set up?
 
all i found were posts about "How do i get music on my computer" where people recomended a us-122, but no praise or bashing of the product.

i'm fairly sure i'll buy it, but i just want someone who uses it to tell me how well or bad it works.

i think i did the search with the hyphen (us-122) and that might be why i didn't see the post you posted.
