Hi All,

I am a novice regarding home recording. I bought a Tascam US-428 and tried to record using Cubase VST/32 but I could not configure the device to work with.

I would like to use a PIII 500MHz, with 128Mb RAM and 20Gb HD.

My question is: What is the best software to run with this equipment in order to save 4 tracks simultaneously?

I am getting frustated with this situation...

Thanks in advice!

I'm not really sure what you are asking but to get the tascam to work with cubase you have to go into Devices/Device Setup/Add remove tab and add the tascam from there. Once it is on the left hand side click on it and set the midi input to all midi inputs. Now saving the 4 tracks simultaneously part im kinda confused did you mean record? If so 500 mhz IMO won't cut it no matter what software you use. Also make sure you are using the Audio Drivers on the tascam in the audio settings part of the control panel ( im assuming you are using windows
