Us-122

Hello all,

I have a problem with my US-122.... the problem is that when I press record a sound come out and well it sounds like ... (DA-DO-DA-DO) ... And even when I press the play button... And when I try to record my voice with my mic it won't work. (or it's to say I cannot record my voice at all)...

Is there something i'm doing wrong? I mean I creat a new track, and I try to record my voice on an audio one, it will not record my voice. Please help me.

This is ofcourse knowing that i'm using the Tascam GigaStudio to record and edit my music.

I also use a US-122 and never had any success using the Gigastudio software bundled with it. Try doing a google search for N-Track (a favorite here) or Tracktion (the one I use) --- either sequencer will work with a variety of OS's + will be compatable with your US-122 and they both let you try before you buy. Then you will know if it's a problem with the US-122 or, as I suspect, the software.

The GigaStudio is NOT recording software. Use the bundled Cubasis, or even better, get Cakewalk's Home Studio. I used the US122 and Cubasis to record the song in my signature line. Give it a listen and tell me what you think!
