Hi everyone--
I've been using my 122 for audio recording for a month or so, and I
just love it. I am trying to use it now for working in Reason. I
have an old keyboard, an Ensoniq ESQ1 to be exact. I hooked the MIDI
out on it to the MIDI In on the 122, and when I press keys, the MIDI
In light lights up on the 122. However, in Reason, I can't trigger any of the
synth moduled with the keyboard like I should be able to. I made
sure that the MIDI settings in Reason were set to the 122, and that
the channels were set to the same, but still nothing. Any help would
be appreciated. Oh yeah, I'm running XP Pro, with a SB Live Value sound card.

Same problem

I have the same problem. Very strange behaviour with MIDI. I'm using a PIII 1.1GHz laptop with XP home with Reason. Keyboard is an Ensoniq EPS. Sometimes I can get the keyboard to trigger the instruments in Reason if I make sure the keyboard is on first, then after a fresh boot I plug in the US-122 into the USB port, then fire up Reason. It sometimes takes me a few tries. Very strange. I hope that someone can help us out here

Us-122

I am having a real problem using my US-122 USB Audio/MIDI Interface. I can't get a proper install.

I am using a:

Toshiba Laptop with XP Media Center
512 Meg RAM

I know I can use the US-122 to record (if I can get it up right), but can I just use it as a regular sound card? and do i have to disable the onboard internal card?
Is this US-122 even a descent unit?
thks,
