Hey there. Over the weekend I purchased a US-122 system for my PC. I was looking for a means to connect my drum machine and bass quitar together and record it.

I had the two going into a mixing board but had no way of recording it.

I looked at the Fostex digital 8 track recorder but was a bit discouraged by the fact that it only had 3 minutes of recording time. The sales guy at my local Guitar Center suggested I try the 122.

I got it hooked up and it seems to work except I could only get it working with N-Track.

My problem/question is I cannot hear it coming out of my PC speakers until after I record it and play it back. The unit has a headphones plug which I could use but I was wondering if there was any way to have it play back through my PC speakers while I was recording....or am I asking for too much here? :p

with the 122,224, & 428 when recording using the mic or the midi you get a small sound whenever trying to listen and record. Me personally I record vocals and with some headphones you can't hear it right then and some you can, the same with studio monitors you probably just need to turn up your speakers until you hear it or turn up your input and record it at a louder volume (wouldn't do that to much it may distort your sound some)
