Urgantish Speaker Help Needed....

Hey doooods, I haven't got alot of time to spare on this so here goes.... ok, for monitoring purposes, my speakers suck, but saying that, I've learnt to work with them rather than get the shits with them, not saying THAT, I can't afford to replace them with anything decent for a while, BUT a friend is flogging off a pair of Toa F-150D's for $100 australian....Now I know these are not studio monitors, but I was thinking they could fit the bill until I can afford new monitors and then stick 'em in my bedroom stereo or somethin'....Does anyone know about them? Would they do the trick for the next few months?.....

I haven't seen any TOA stuff in years. Are they still around? They made some decent stuff but nothing great. About the same as Peavey PA gear as I recall.

Any monitors can be made to 'work'. If you like them buy them. If not wait and spend your money on something more worthwhile.
 
Thanks for ya reply Tex....Yep they're still 'round...I think given the state of the monitors I'm using I'll probably grab 'em, just can't find any info about them.....
