Hey guys --

I wanna improve the sound quality of my recordings by getting better interfaces. Right now I use a Roland VM3100Pro 8ch digital mixer/interface.

So I was thinking, should I get a decent analog mixer with analog outs, a converter and a good quality sound card? What I had in mind was a Soundcraft mixer and an RME Hammerfall interface, maybe one of the new EMU sound cards (1820m or so). Should I get concerters?? I was thinking about the Fontier Tango24 interface since its not as expensive as most of the other high-end gear.

Would such a setup make sense and deliver better audio recordings? Any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks!

why, what's wrong? Just checked it out and seems to be fine. Do you have any problems with it?
