Upgrading CPU £60 budget. Dual Core?

Hi. I'm looking to upgrade the CPU on my PC.
I currently have a Pentium 4 3.2gHz with 2GB RAM.
My budget is £60.

I've seen the Intel Pentium D 925 3.0gHz Dual core LGA775 SL9KA for £45.99 + £6 p&p.

Would I notice much of an increase in performance with this?
Would it be a good solid reliable CPU for Cubase SX3 with lots of VSTi's?
Is there a better option for this price range?

I can't speak for the performance gains, but just to check - is your current Pentium 4 a LGA775 socket? If not, you'd have to replace the motherboard too.
