I have a m audio delta 1010 and would like to upgrade the software to something more user friendly. I can record and function fairly well but have trouble with the mixing after that. the interface works with my instrument inputs(7) but occasionally locks up with asio issues. I had heard there is an update for this? basically I need some easier to use software to use with the delta.

Ehmm.. not sure what the problem is. What are these asio issues you're having? Do you find Delta asio panel or DAW hard to use?
If you don't like Delta asio interface then only other option would be Asio4all which may not have all functions.

the asio sometimes shows an error when recording 7 or 8 tracks at once, can live with this . the trouble I have is when I try to use locator points to drop in solos or manipulating tracks after the recordings are made................I'm not understanding the system very well...would like to try another soft ware compatable with delta in an attempt to better my editing / mixing skills............thanks

delta logic that came with the delta 1010........................need something more user friendly......................have tons of recordings that need mixing but the software is too confusing..........using old pc with delta 1010 sound card installed..................want to use delta 1010 interface hardware with new soft ware ..........and be able to access old recordings thanks

Oh, you are using Logic on pc.. As far as I remember it was crap when I tried it years ago. Logic is now for Mac only and much more user friendly...

But yeah, try out Reaper as Mike suggested ;)
