Unwanted Program Change in CUBASE SX

I have CUBASE SX. Everytime a sequence loops to the beginning of the song, all channgels reset to the original program # on Track 1.

Example: ! set Track 1 to program # 20 and play it. and then decide to set it to Program # 30. WHen the song starts from the begnning.. every channel resets back to Program # 20.
 
I'm not home so I can post screen shots but it's possible to erase the program changes. If I remember I'll post how tomorrow.
 
Double click the midi event.

In the window that pops up in the lower left hand corner there is a down arrow button:

Hitting it should get you similar:

Erase the program change. This aspect of cubase hasn't changed from version to version, this is version 5 but should work the same for version 1.
