Hi guy , thanks for reading this out.

i've been using n-track to record my guitar tracks and i was happy with it till i decided to change to CEP2. With n-track , i usually use the Cakewalk Dynamics Processor's Compressor to enchance the sound quality of the guitar tracks. I found out that CEP2 doesn't support the Cakewalk Compressor/Gate for some god forsaken reason. The reason i'm using the Cakewalks Compressor/Gate is because it has presets like "guitar sustain" and "guitar compression" , "acoustic guitar compression" .
I'm not really good at setting the presets so i rely on whats ready there.

Can anyone figure out how to get those "unsupported plugins" to work ? Will downloading the latest version help ? It's a directx plugin by the way. Or can anyone please name some good compression plugins which have similiar presets like the ones I named above? mostly for instruments and vocals. Thanks in advance. :)

Make sure under effects in CEP you press the REFRESH buttton. This will scan for new effects.

...Yo BandGeek, it's true that some of those Cakewalk Effect is not compatible with CEP. That's why it listed under "unsuported plugins". If you want to use them, the shortest way is to save the wave, import in Cakewalk itself, and apply the effect there. Then export the wave, and re-open in CEP. You have no shorter option. ;) I tried it and work just fine this way...
