I don't use the US-122 anymore and I hit the uninstall option in the program list for US-122. This seemed to uninstall it, but I still have the US-122 icon in my control panel and there is an entry for it in the program list still. Anyone know how I can permanently remove it from everywhere in XP?

You can go into Explorer>program files, then right click and delete it. Unfortuately most programs once installed leave some artifacts behind. If it still shows up on your control and start menus, you can do the same right click and delete.

Thing is, it still shows up in my add/remove programs list. When I click "change/remove", an error window pops up telling me that some kind of file in the Tascam directory isn't there anymore and won't uninstall it. I don't think deleting the icons in various locations will get it out of the installed programs section. Aren't there also Registry entries I'll have to delete or change values to?

Hi again crossstudio -

Thanks for the reply. Good thread. Thank you. I assume I'll just have to fish around for what I think I should remove from the registry. Unless the TweakUi knows how to find all entries for a certain install, does it? I was hoping to get the ole "go to HKEYLOCALwhatever and remove the US122whatever", etc.
