Uninstall Avid Pro Tools First on Windows 10

I was doing some research on DAW software and I installed Avid Pro Tools First on Windows 10. I learned that my old laptop just can't handle it, so I attempted to uninstall it. The typical uninstall does not work via Apps > Apps & features > Avid Pro Tools First because both the Modify and Uninstall buttons are greyed out and unclickable/unselectable. I did many searches on the web for solutions and non are clear. It is thoroughly frustrating that the application does not uninstall with ease. It is quite a disservice and a major turnoff to their software for the future.

Does anyone have any tips?
 
I thought Protools came with its own uninstallers.
Was there not one in the original installer download?
 
Surprisingly, this article from June 2009 worked for me in October 2017. I used the -fix method as described in the page below. I ran the -fix on the install file (that was within the .zip file that I had downloaded from Avid's website) and then the uninstall process began on its own.
