Under-rated brand

I just thought I'd throw out an option to those of you looking for quality inexpensive acoustics. Cort. They get almost no love here in the states. I bought mine when I was in Korea (they are a korean brand.) Mine has a solid spruce top, came with a set of fishman pickups (that don't work anymore) and has tone for days . . . . cost . . . . $250 USD. That was five years ago. I've been hard on it (as have my two young kids and my dog) but it still sings. I was going to buy a new guitar, but I realized that I don't NEED one. This one is really a nice guitar. So . . . in response to the numerous "best acoustic under $X" threads lately . . . my answer is "give Cort a try."

Cort is one of the better Korean brands, although I'd say Samick is about the same as far as quality is concerned. I have a Cort bass that is excellently constructed and very comfortable to play, but the pickups are pretty crappy. I paid about $250 for it. I'm not complaining for the money.
