under 400$ what mic?

i currently have a Samson Co3 and im looking for something better

AT4040
KSM44

im horrible with mics i know nothing about them so i was just seeing if you guys had any suggestions of what i should do

out of your list, i hear the KSM44 is pretty popular for hip-hop. i've never used one myself though so i'm not much help, haha.

well the ones i listed were ones i was lookn at im basically lookn for anything good under 400 because im getting a pro tools mbox 2 mini for chrsitmas

That said, the 4040 is a well-respected vocal mic for the money. I haven't tried anything in that price range since I didn't like the ~100 dollar offerings, and held off until I had about 800 to spend on a nice vocal mic. Sorry
