anyone using the ultrafunk directx compressor?
i'm currently using the cakewalk fx compressor, with the dsp-fx peak limiter (the optimizer really) behind it because i don't like the limiter that cakewalk has, and i want to control the stray peaks that get through the compressor and cause the end result of mix normalization to be several DB below where it should/could be.
has anyone used the ultrafunk compressor? if so, how is it, and how is the peak limiter? if the programmers are worth their salt, i'm betting that the CPU power that it takes to run one plug-in that does both compression and peak limiting will be less than my running 2 plug-ins to serve the same purpose.
