Hi guys, you can call me Ray. So I write songs for fun and decided to make them work. So I started by working with the songs through my laptop's mic and using Audacity to record the tracks. Now, I'm not too happy with the sound, for obvious reasons.I wanted to make it sound better, nothing special just for me to enjoy my music with friends and family. So I recently bought a MIDI interface, M-Audio midiman Midisport 2x2 Anniversary Edition, and two MIDI Cables. I own a Zoom G9.2tt and also Cubase LE4, since it came with it.
I have Cubase LE4 installed, the MIDI interface installed and connected to my laptop, hooked up my Zoom G9.2tt MIDI Out to In-A of the Midiman Midisport 2x2 and its Out-A into the MIDI in of my Zoom G9.2tt. I went to Cubase's Device Manager and included the Midisport on the list and also in the Preferences. I thought this was all I needed to do but apparently not. Anyone patient enough to help me out? Really appreciate it. Thanks.
Hmmm I just realized that this may be off-topic... Sorry about that
