Does anyone know which plugs are shipped with this pack?

Also, to UAD-1 owners out there, which plugins would you recommend with the $500 voucher?

Thanks for that John.

So you'd have Precision EQ over Pultec Pro?

I wouldn't. But then it depends on what you are doing. They have a Mastering Pack where you can get all three Precision plugs with the $500 voucher, although another "mastering pack" could be LA2A, Precision Limiter, and EQ. But for mixing, I'd rather have the 1176LN, Pultec Pro, Plate 140, and LA2A. That's $30 over the voucher, but worth it :)

Yeah, for mixing, I would much rather have the Pultec Pro than the Precision EQ. If you have ever used a real Pultec, you would know why you NEED this eq! :)

Precision Limiter is a very nice sounding analog type limiter. This is NOTHING like say the Waves L2 or L3! While limiting, it offers a sort of "round" sound to it. Very cool, but, you would have to have a NEED for something like that.

Myself, I would get the 1176, LA2A, Fairchild, and the Pultec Pro. The Fairchild is an excellent sounding "bus" compressor. It is also an excellent compressor on female vocals that you would like to keep a very lush sound on (think like Mariah Carey or something like that).

If you tend you use a lot of chorus on things, and you are looking for a KILLER sounding chorus, that BOSS CE-1 blew my mind!

How is the precision eq/pultec pro compared to the cambridge?

They're all completely different animals - Totally different in design and function.

The Cambridge is very "dry" and surgical - Excellent for corrective tweaking.

The Pultec is - Well, it's a Pultec. A great program EQ with controls that are unlike any other.

The Precision is an absolutely amazing shaping unit - Very smooth, very "lush" and "musical" (for lack of better terminology) while colorful at times, tends to "disappear" into the mix better than almost any EQ plug I've used.

Thanks for the great advice, all. I'm leaning toward the mshilarious 'mixing' pack
