UAD-1 card

My UAD has caused my computer to lock upon start up. I at first thought it was the hard drive. I finally took out the UAD and it fired up fine. Meanwhile I put the UAD in another computer thinking the first was trashed. Now the second computer is doing the same thing, freezing up on start up. So, I just took it out and it starts up fine. Anyone else had this issue? I have reloaded software ,drivers, no luck.Don't suppose there is any repair to a sound card. :(

When I first got my UAD 1 I couldn't shut my computer down. When I would shut down, it would go to the windows is shutting down screen, and stay there literally forever.

Took the card out, no problems. Put it back, it happened again.

A couple of months later I got a new motherboard and CPU and everything is fine now.
 
That makes me think it's a motherboard issue, which in terms makes me think of a BIOS update. Don't fuck that up, but when it works, it might fix your problem.
 
not mother board issue as both computers I put it in did the same thing until I removed the UAD, then all was fine with both.
