I just purchased a U195 which right now I'm comparing to a C1 and 4050.

The U195 output level is about 6db lower than a C1, and about 9 db lower than a 4050... and the -10db pad is not on.

Anyone else found the U195 to have a lower output level...

Thanks...

SP C1 Sensitivity = 12mV/Pa
AT 4050 Sensitivity = 15.8mV/Pa
Soundleux U195 Sensitivity = 14mV/Pa

So the U195 should be right between the C1 and 4050.

Looks like it might be defective.

thanks... but, this spec borders on meanless...

the U195 level is about the same as my 460.

no, the U195 is definetly not defective... it was just an observation...

anyone with a U195?

It doesnt seem to be a huge output mic, but not anemic either. Something might have happened to it during shipping. Send it to David Bock and he'll fix it right up for ya and send it back shining, and then it'll kick your ass on a bunch of stuff and you'll wanna sell those others and buy a pair.
